Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow’s pinky dislocated
In the 41-22 home game losing to the Lightning on Sunday afternoon, the Tigers jersey starting quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a minor injury.
In an interview with reporters after the game, Burrow said that when he was sacked and killed in the first quarter, the passer’s little finger was dislocated, but he insisted on finishing the game without missing any offense.
But Burrow doesn’t think he will miss the game against the 49ers next week: “I just have to deal with this injury. I won’t miss any games because of this.”
Burrow completed 24 of 40 passes in this game, advanced 300 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions (both after injury). If Burrow’s injury recovery is not satisfactory, Brandon Allen (Brandon Allen) will start instead for him.
Tigers coach Zac Taylor (Zac Taylor) and wide receiver Tee Higgins (Tee Higgins) said that Burrow’s passing accuracy is not a problem.
