Ravens jersey coach Harper expresses confidence in first-round pick Lindbaum
The offensive line was one of the Baltimore Ravens weak spots last season, when they allowed 57 sacks, the second-most in the league. In order to strengthen, the Ravens made some signings, first-round pick center Tyler Linderbaum (Tyler Linderbaum) is one of them.
During the Baltimore Ravens jerseys rookie minicamp on Saturday, coach John Harbaugh said Lindbaum’s past experience gives him an edge.
“I think he’s off to a good start because he’s been playing center his entire career,” Harper said. “Kirk Ferentz is an offensive line coach, and he’s got good offensive line coaches, Iowa. The offensive linemen from Hua University are well coached.”
“When the veterans come, I’ll try to learn from them,” Lindbaum said. “Especially to understand the offense and understand how to communicate. I think centers also have a leadership responsibility to put people in the right positions and give Give the right orders. I’ve played center for a few years and think I can do that.”
